  • This is my first time riding a road bike or cross bike, can you teach me how to ride one?

Regarding road bikes, we recommend that those who are used to sports bikes, such as cross bikes, use them to some extent, but if you are a complete beginner, please ride around the store for a while before setting out. We ask that you get a feel for it before departing.
  • Can I rent a helmet and gloves?
    For your safety, helmets are available free of charge. Gloves are sold in stores. You can choose from two helmet sizes, S and M, and two glove sizes, M and L.
  • Do you have a key and a light?
    yes. A key, headlight, and taillight are standard equipment.
  • Is there a bicycle parking area?
    Nakanojima Home has a cycle rack in front of the store. There is no bicycle parking space at Tachikawa Base, so please use the nearest bicycle parking lot, such as around Tachikawa Station.
  • Is there a parking lot?
    There is no parking lot at the store. Nakanojima Home has several coin parking lots nearby, so you can use them. There is one coin parking lot at Tachikawa Base, which is about a 3-minute walk away. When the parking lot is full, please consider coin parking around Shibasaki Taiikkan Station.
  • What do you need on the day?
    Please bring something that can confirm your identity (driver's license, health insurance card, My Number card, student ID card, etc.).
  • Is there a place to change clothes?
    There are no changing rooms available, but you can change clothes in the private restroom. Nakanojima Home has temporary changing facilities available in the restroom, but please note that Tachikawa Base is currently cramped.
  • How should I dress on the day?
    Please come in clothes that are easy to move in on the day of the event. Please refrain from wearing clothes with wide hems, such as skirts, as they may get caught in the chain. Also, for your safety, please wear sneakers or other comfortable shoes.
  • Can I store my luggage?
    You can store your luggage in the lockers inside the store. At the Tachikawa store, lockers are assigned for each rental vehicle type, so please check at the store.
  • Can I change my bike on the same day?
    yes. If the bicycle is available at the store you visit, you can change it on the same day. Please let us know if you have any concerns about how big or small it is when you actually straddle it.
  • Can I transport the rented bicycle in my car?
    If you would like to transport the rental vehicle by car, please contact us in advance using the inquiry form. We may refuse your request if we do not contact you in advance. note that.
  • Is it possible to use it for competitive purposes?
    Please refrain from using the facility for competitive purposes such as triathlons or road races.
  • What happens if it rains?
    Reservations may be canceled depending on the probability of precipitation announced the day before or the amount of rain and weather on the day. In the event of cancellation at our discretion, we will contact you by email or phone. If you do not hear from us, you may use the service at your own discretion. Please refer to our cancellation policy for details.
  • Are there any precautions when using the facility in the rain?
    When it rains, you are more likely to slip, so don't drive too fast and try to drive more safely than usual. Depending on the road surface conditions, such as puddles, water may splash violently. Please take proper waterproof measures such as wearing rainwear for sports. We also sell rainwear with a deposit. Please check with our staff.
  • Can I change the return location?
    Please return it to the store where you started the rental. Returns to other stores are currently not possible.
  • It looks like the return time has passed, what should I do?
    If you think you won't be able to return the item in time, please call the store you plan to return it to. Please note that if you return the item outside of business hours, you may be charged an additional fee.
  • Can I rent it for more than one day?
    Currently, the service is only available during business hours on the day (9:30 - 17:00). If you are thinking of renting for more than one day, such as for one night and two days, please contact us.
  • Is it possible to have my bicycle maintained?
    Our store does not perform bicycle repairs or maintenance. note that.
  • Can I change the pedals?
    We do not support pedal replacements, such as changing from flat pedals to binding pedals. All of the bicycles we stock have flat pedals, so please refrain from coming to the store wearing binding shoes.
  • Can I make a same-day reservation?
    yes. However, please note that the deadline for accepting reservations from the website is 3:00 pm on the same day. If you would like to make a same-day reservation after that time, please contact the store by phone.
  • I am planning to use the room for multiple people. Can I make a reservation at once?
    We apologize, but it is not possible to make reservations for multiple people at once. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please register as a member and make a reservation for each customer. If you are unable to create an account for each person in your family, please contact us.
  • Can I cancel my reservation?
    Yes. Please cancel on My Page up until the departure time, including on the day of your trip. If you wish to cancel after the departure time, please call the store. If more than 1 hour has passed from the reservation time without contacting us, we may contact you and cancel your reservation.
  • The bicycle I want to ride is not displayed in the list.
    If you filter by height when selecting a bicycle, bicycles with sizes that do not suit your height will not be displayed. Also, depending on your choice of departure/arrival location and reservation date, some bicycles may not be available for use. If you have a particular bicycle that you would like to ride, please select ``Reserve from the bicycle you want to ride'' when making a reservation.
  • Is there a difference in speed depending on the bicycle?
    There are differences between categories, such as road bikes and cross bikes, but there is no difference in speed between bikes within the same category.
  • Do you have bicycles for children?
    At this time, we do not have children's bicycles available. Depending on demand, it may be added to the lineup in the future. If your child will be using the bicycle, please check the appropriate height for the bicycle before making a reservation.
  • What should I do if I get a flat tire while using the service?
    If your bicycle has a flat tire, please go to the nearest cycle shop and have it repaired at actual cost.
  • What should I do if something breaks down while I'm using it?
    If your bicycle breaks down or is damaged, please stop riding immediately and contact our store by phone.
  • What should I do if my bicycle is stolen?
    If your bicycle is stolen, please contact us immediately by phone. Also, please submit a damage report to the police station and report the damage report receipt number to our store.
  • What should I do if I have an accident while using the service?
    First, please take the measures required by law, such as contacting the police or emergency services. After that, please contact our store immediately by phone.
